Top 10 Nintendo Franchises I Would like to see on the Wii

10. Yoshi
We all know that Yoshi's Story on the N64 had potential and that the Yoshi's Island series was a great success. The only Yoshi platforming game on a home console was back in the N64 days, almost a decade ago. The Gamecube missed its chance but the Wii is sure to have a long life, and Yoshi could be a part of that life.

9. Pokemon
Ok, Pokemon: Battle Revolution was a huge failure, right? The reason it didn't do so well is because it only focused on the battle aspect of the type of Pokemon games we grew up with and loved. How about we add the adventure that Battle Revolution never had. A 3D remake of the Red/Blue/Yellow Pokemon games would be phenomenal. No? Well, what about Pokemon Snap? The Wii's motion controls would be ideal for a game like that.

8. Mario Sports Titles
With Mario Striker Charged already out and Mario Super Sluggers on its way, you can bet your sweet little candy ass that Nintendo isn't done. We're still looking forward to hit Mario Sport Staples of Tennis and Golf returning on the Wii. Mario still has the potential to play in other sports as well, such as basketball, bowling, American football, and possibly even... lacrosse?

7. Kirby
Though there are rumors of a Kirby in development for the Wii, the "Big N" hasn't announced anything yet of the sort. Kirby missed his chance on the Gamecube and the N64 game, The Crystal Shards included the idea of combining your powers. Hopefully, if a Kirby game does land onto the Wii, the power fusion will remain.

6. Star Fox
Fans of the series want it and so do we. The motion controls could be very fitting for a game like this. There can be many types of controls to maneuver the ship and shoot enemies. The possibilities wouldn't be endless, but there sure would be a lot.

5. Pikmin
Oh, come on, Nintendo! This is one of your newest franchises and it only appeared on the Gamecube thus far! May I remind you, the Gamecube is one of Nintendo's greatest failures for a console (in sales anyways). New gamers and new Nintendo fans aren't going to know who Captain Olimar even is without picking up the gamecube games or from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

4. Kid Icarus
Everybody thought this series died. Seriously. But Brawl had to bring it back and make fans go crazy. Even the creator of Kid Icarus asked Sakurai if he could use the design of Pit from Brawl for a Wii version of the game. Hey, it could happen, and the chances of it should be fairly high.

3. The Legend of Zelda
Hey, Twilight Princess was originally supposed to be on the Gamecube, thus the Wii version is merely a port of the Gamecube version. We need a definitive Zelda game on our Wiis. I repeat: We NEED one! Whether it's Wind Waker-style or the more serious approach, fans will dance with glee.

2. Animal Crossing
There are so many online opportunities with this game, the most popular opportunity being making the game into an MMO. That would be the most epic and revolutionary implementation on any Nintendo console. Let's just hope we won't have to use Friend Codes.

1. ??? (New Franchise)
Dear Nintendo,
Get up off of your lazy asses and create some more beloved characters that Nintendo does so well into bringing. Mario and Link are getting a little old (not really), and us Wiiniis deserve a new franchise from Nintendo! An M-rated Nintendo game would be cool too. smile.gif
