Nintendo finally added voice chat to Wii, with today's announcement of WiiSpeak. WiiSpeak is a community microphone that sits on top of the sensor bar. WiiSpeak allows anyone in the room to talk with friends online. The first game to utilize WiiSpeak will be Animal Crossing: City Folk.
